Why are so expensive chandelier shades?
I thought it was like a sofa slipcovering – a way to change the look and dress up without having to buy a new one. but ….. I could buy a new chadelier for the price of the freaking things, what's up with that?!?!
I paid $ 3.49 for mine at Big Lots. One group was trimmed, but I added my own in a simple set. I hot glued gimp at the top and bottom for the interest added. I've also seen inexpensively at Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Burlington Coat Factory, Tuesday Morning and JoAnne Etc. Most are in the range of $ 3-5 and have decent selections.
