Back Plates
Im buying a car but the dealer does not label temp Can I drive on dealer plates let me use?
I was wondering if legally drive a car trip from Maryland to Virginia, I just bought at a dealer plates that the dealer gives me. They do not make a temporary tag, but I have the car insured and have a bill of sale. Please help. Thanks
When purchasing a vehicle outside the state in which you are registering the vehicle, the dealer should provide you with a unit of time-away label "This label is usually valid for a short period of time (5, 7. or 10 days). There appears in the back window of the vehicle, and you should be able to present a "bill of sale" along with him, must be arrested by the authorities. Dealers do not lend themselves to the dishes for you to carry a vehicle. An out of state "dealer board" is more likely to be arrested on suspicion of a valid document in the window. Hope this helps.
