Chinese Blue
how should i find out about chinese dinner set if i cant read chinese?
it has a blue chinese symbol on the back, however that is of no use to me. this dish set came from an aunt that was a millionare. i have found other dish ware of hers to be worth 50dollars a plate and up. i have not succeded in checking into this set though. i would really appreciate anoyone who is able to translate it to contact me.
Suggest to take a good close-up photo of the blue colored Chinese character as well as photos of 1 or 2 pieces from the set and post them on an on-line photo sharing site & provide the link here. People can then help to translate or give advice if they’ve seen similar pieces before. You can also bring the photos to any Chinese antique shop in Chinatowns near your area to see if they can help or see whether YA has a section on antiques or porcelain/china.
