Persian Mahal
Where can I learn more about Persian culture?
I am asking this question, basically, because I do not know much about the Iranians. I know that the Iranians are not Arabs and speak a language very different from Arabic, but I do not know ernough on Iranian culture, enough to make a firm distinction between the two. These are the things that comes to mind when thinking of Arab culture: kaffiyeh, bedioun, calligraphy, Rai music, dance belly Debka Oud indigenous culture: bhangra, curry, sari, Ramayana, Taj Mahal, Bollywood, Bhagavad Gita, the sacred cows, sitar, Bindi Iranian culture: Shahnameh, Persian rug, the Nowruz [that is] Do you know any websites or books where I learn more about Persian culture?
Indian culture is evil because I am Indian. Indian culture is a mixed tradition because the Indians are Christians, Muslims and Hindus. I hope you can come to India to learn more. It's easy to try to dissect what that reading and listening, but each religion has its own culture. Persian culture can learn again to make friends. His reading on the web is very different.
