The American War of Independence was a war started by a group of rich kids who did not like the way Britain was trying to impose his authority over the colonies, but grew through the use of propaganda to be a revolution of people trying to get rid of a regieme oppressive, although more than half the population of the American colonists were revolutionaries. American Revolutionary War was fought between the two alliances. Revolutionaries, French, Spanish and Dutch and the British side, Republicans and a German principality, on the other. To win the War of Independence from Britain need to invade the colonies and the defeat of the revolutionaries, while simultainously Spanish defeat the French and Dutch on land and sea and try to keep their territories non-Europeans who were threatened by the French and Spanish. The revolutionaries had to survive. The 1812 war was started by a group of Americans who were tired that is pressed by the great European powers, who thought they could take advantage of Britannica distracted by Napoleon to attempt a land grab for British North America. The 1812 war was fought between the Americans and the British when the majority of British troops and ships were better in Europe. To win the war of 1812 the British had meerly to stop any American invasion attempt and try to force them to negotiate peace. To win the war in 1812 the Americans had to invade Canada and the British unit back far enough outside North America who are willing to negotiate on the terms Americans. In summary, the 1812 war was a war of American aggression, while the Revolutionary War was a war of British aggression.
