Is there a cheap place to buy metal roof panels stamped?
I am remodeling Kithen and love the idea of replacing the roof of cardboard gypsum decorative stamped tin ceiling tiles. I checked out online and found a place that sells for around $ 20 per group. I think it's expensive. Is there a cheap alternative. The house is 60 years old. I want the kitchen to have character. I love the way the stamped tin tiles look at the ceiling. If a version cheaper molded plastic, I can accept that. I just want to add texture to the ceiling with some intricate details. I want to be affordable too. The kitchen is about 12 feet x 12 feet. I'll go with exposed beams.
Check your local mobile home supply, there is a skirt to the bottom of trailers that look like roof panels it will work. Another idea used in restaurants and shops in the corrugated steel panels, it seems appropriate to the period.
