Are invaders doing the right thing by reducing CB Hall and WR Walker?
Angered by Oakland Raiders 2-6 the first time, team owner Al Davis asked reception staff to explore the possibility of releasing several players, including cornerback DeAngelo Hall, according to multiple sources. The Raiders is expected to release Hall on Wednesday, sources told ESPN's Michael Smith http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3683124
Well, we know that should never have come to this. Al Davis must have heard this summer when Lane Kiffin suggested that trade for DeAngelo Hall and / or sign Javon Walker for one of the most richest contract ever given to a wide receiver. However, with that said, it is the right move. These are not players you want on your football team. It is terrible that Raiders organization is in this position, but are movements to be performed. Yes, they have lost millions of dollars on these two players – not to mention a second round in the Hall – but any progress has a price. If this happens, I would like to congratulate the Raiders to finally look to move some of the most damaging players your franchise.
